Web server protocol
As a general principle, you can visit our website without telling us who you are. As is common with almost all websites however, the server hosting our website (hereinafter referred to as "web server") will automatically collect information from you when you visit us on the internet.
The web server automatically detects certain personal data which you provide to us directly, and other information about how you use our website, such as your IP address, the date and time of your visit to our website, the pages of our website visited by you, the website you had visited before, the browser you use (e.g. Internet Explorer), the operating system you use (e.g. Windows 10), the device you use to access our website, and the domain name and address of your internet provider (e.g. AOL). If our website cookies are used (as explained below), the web server will also store this information.
We regularly analyse these server protocols in an anonymous form for statistical purposes (click stream analyses) to enable us to ascertain how our webpages are used. We then optimise our website on the basis of these findings.
In addition, we can use this information in the case of any abuse of the system in cooperation with your internet provider and/or the local authorities in order to identify the originator of this abuse.

On this website, the IP anonymisation is activated; the last two bytes of the visitor IP address are masked. This anonymous information is used to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on your website activities and to render additional services to the website operator relating to the use of the website and internet. You can prevent the storage of cookies by choosing the appropriate setting in your browser software; however, we inform you that in that case you may not be able to fully use all functions available on the website.
Prevention and/or control of cookies
There are different methods for suppressing, displaying and removing any cookies deposited on your computer. The method depends on the browser you use. Should you experience difficulties, we recommend that you consult the supplier's website. You will find the necessary information there. If you decide not to accept any cookies, you nevertheless still have access to most parts of our website. Even so, you may no longer be able to use certain functions.
